$We’re a week into our holiday in France which has flown by! Does anyone take a few days to relax when they get on holiday? I definitely take a while to get into the swing of things, a weeks holiday never really seems enough as by the time I’ve fully switched off it’s time to come home so a two weeker this time around is definitely the way to go!! Non existent Wi-fi and very little signal has forced me to switch off this last week which has actually been very nice!! Has everyone had a good week?? . $We’re on two sleeps until holiday, Mr H has finished work and the kids are bored and ready to go, so everyone is in real holiday mood....except me! 😩 I’ve got so much to do, I’ve not started on all the washing I need to do before Friday, I’m working today and have lots more work I need to do before we go, there’s shopping to do and lists to write... it goes on, unfortunately it’s times like this that the anxiety kicks in, too much to do and not enough time to do it! I know it will get done, it always does, and I’m just looking forward to what’s on the other side! Not so bad though as it means it’s only 6 sleeps until holiday time which I’m REALLY looking forward to, we’re off to France for a whole 16 days, we haven’t had a two week holiday in 10 years so am very excited! . $Good morning folks! What a weekend, I think I’m still recovering! The kids had a lovely little break at the grandparents whilst Mr H and I drank our body weight in alcohol on Saturday, we had the best time with our friends, I woke up in my sons bed on Sunday morning still dressed so I reckon that’s the sign of a good night!! 🤣🤪 but the recovery time is definitely longer these days!! I should be fine by Thursday!! 😂 . . I’m going to have the mother of all lie ins this morning as it’s been a busy weeks and I’m well and truly washed out and then we’re off to a local beer festival for the day with friends! I've been working with @bandq_uk’s GoodHome bathroom range, they've been helping me with the planning stage of the project. B&Q’s GoodHome range ticks a lot of boxes for us, quality pieces and affordable prices, and great storage solutions for small spaces. .
